About Us

Merlin’s Hope Rescue was founded to honour a blind chow named Merlin, who showed the world that blind dogs rule! Merlin was a true ambassador of the breed and was loved by all who met him.   Blind dogs can perform just as well as sighted dogs, in fact almost 90% of the time, most people never notice.

We are operated by benevolent volunteers across several provinces. We are all gainfully employed and donate our time and effort to the Rescue Effort.
